5年前,敬爱的邓小平同志在著名的视察南方的谈话中,语重心长地指出:“经济发展得快一点,必须依靠科技和教育,我说科学技术是第一生产力。近一二十年来,世界科学技术发展得多快啊!高科技领域的一个突破,带动一批产业的发展。我们自己这几年,离开所学技术能增长得这么快吗?要提倡科学,靠科学才有希望。”这段话,充分表达了小平同志对科技的重视,集中体现了小平同志的科技思想,内涵十分丰富和深刻,值得我们认真反复的学习和领会。
Five years ago, in his famous inspection of the south, Comrade Deng Xiaoping pointedly said with earnest intentions: “When economy develops faster, we must rely on science and technology and education. I say that science and technology are primary productive forces. In the past decade or two, the world Science and technology are developing so fast! A breakthrough in high-tech fields will drive the development of a number of industries. How can we grow as fast as we can in the past few years? Only by science can we hope to promote science. ” This passage fully expresses Comrade Xiaoping's emphasis on science and technology and embodies Comrade Xiaoping's scientific and technological thinking in a concentrated manner. The connotation is very rich and profound and deserves our careful study and comprehension.
