What is a “great” guitar sound? This is obviously a very subjective concept. It may be the sound you think is awesome, or it may sound unbearable to some people (our parents probably think rock ’n’ roll). Since we are prepared to take a long time to explore what is really good guitar sound, then we have to figure out what kind of sound we think is excellent. In our concept, excellent timbre should be described as follows: It is a timbre that helps the guitarist to express his music to the greatest extent possible. Excellent timbre is manipulable - distorted timbres come out when you need to be distorted, and when you need it, it’s in place too; if you want your voice to be prominent throughout the music Come, or blend in with the background music, it meets your needs. The purpose of this article is to help you freely manipulate and shape your own sound according to your unique needs. Once you understand this guideline for timbre, any timbre can be obtained whenever you want. You will know what equipment you need to copy the guitar sounds you hear on record.
