设计从板片易于折叠的操作特性出发,通过板块在空间中的折叠来围合与引导空间。设计最初的想法是通过一维空间中折叠的板块来分割与引导空间。之后在操作模型的过程中发现,二维方向板块的编织,能带来更多空间的可能性,因此方案尝试了两维方向的板片交织。
The design is based on the easy-to-fold operating characteristics of the panels, which are enclosed and guided by the folding of the panels in space. The initial idea of the design was to segment and guide the space by folding the plate in one-dimensional space. Later in the process of operating the model, we found that the two-dimensional direction of the plate weaving, can bring more space possibilities, so the program tried two-dimensional direction of the plate interlacing.
