中国作家协会书记处最近组成第二届(1983-1984)全国优秀新诗(诗集)评奖委员会,着手评奖筹备工作。这届新诗(诗集)评奖的范围是1983-1984年在国内正式出版的、以粉碎“四人帮”后的作品为主的诗集。据统计,这两年间我国共出版新诗集250余部,较第一届新诗(诗集)评奖时多百余部。本届评奖采取出版社、诗人、评论家共同推荐与专家评议相结合的方法。评奖筹备工作组首先函请全国各地出版社提供1983-1984年间出版的新诗集目录与其中较优秀者,同时,请部分著名的诗人和评论家推荐这一时期的优秀诗集。在此基础上,中国作协举办由诗歌编辑和评论工作者参加的读诗会、讨论会,提出备选篇目;最后,由评奖委员会经过
China Writers Association Secretariat recently formed the second (1983-1984) National Excellent New Poetry (Poetry) Award Committee, to start the preparatory work for the awards. The scope of the award for this new poem (poetry anthology) is a collection of poems mainly published in China from 1983 to 1984 after the smashing of the “gang of four”. According to statistics, in the past two years, China published a total of more than 250 new poems, more than a hundred when compared with the first New Poetry (poetry anthologies). The current awards to press, poets, critics and experts recommend the combination of evaluation methods. The Prize Preparatory Working Group first asks letters from publishers throughout the country to provide a list of new poems published in 1983-1984 and the best of them, and invite some famous poets and critics to recommend excellent poems of this period. On this basis, the Chinese Writers ’Association organized reading poetry conferences and seminars attended by poetry editors and commentators and proposed alternative articles.
