两年前,到爱新觉罗·兆瑞先生家作客,见客厅中挂有一横幅绘画,画面是一株五穗谷子,右面周祥工整的楷书,是雍正皇帝亲书颁示的郎士宁《瑞谷图》。笔者平生所见中国绘画,大都是山水、人物、花鸟几种题材,当然也有“清供图”之类,画些菜蔬果品,无非文人雅趣。但以单纯的农作物入画,且画得如此精致,还是有生以来第一次得见。兆瑞先生见我久久驻足画前,遂笑着说:“这是依据原件仿真复制的,原画藏于中国第一历史档案馆”。
