荞麦为蓼科荞麦属一年生草本作物,生育期短,抗逆性强,极耐寒,全年可多次播种多次收获。荞麦有4个栽培种,即甜荞、苦荞、翅荞和米荞。秦巴山区气候温润,雨量充沛,坡地面积宽广,无霜期较长,大部分地区适宜荞麦生长,且农户都有春种苦荞,秋种甜荞的习惯。但是本区种植普遍存在品种老化,产量低而不稳的问题,严重制约着荞麦生产向规模化、规范化、无公害化的基地生产发展。
Buckwheat Polygonum buckwheat is an annual herb crop, short growth period, strong resistance, very hardy, many times throughout the year can sow multiple harvests. Buckwheat has 4 cultivars, namely sweet buckwheat, buckwheat, wing buckwheat and rice buckwheat. Qinba mountain climate is warm, abundant rainfall, slope area is broad, frost-free period is longer, most areas suitable for buckwheat growth, and farmers have spring tartary buckwheat, autumn buckwheat habits. However, the problems of aging, low yield and instability of the cultivars in this area are widespread, seriously restricting the production of buckwheat to large-scale, standardized and pollution-free base production.
