2000年的到来,使人类进入了一个新的世纪。回首上一个千年人类历史的发展历程,不能不令我们感慨万千。在上一个千年的发展历程中,人类社会的政治、经济、文化生活都发生了翻天覆地的变化。上一个千年之初,人类无论如何都不会想象到社会会有今日的变化。所以,我们有充分的理由说,不论今日有多少人预测人类社会新千年的发展,其将都是内容贫乏和目光短浅。在新的千年里,人类社会的发展将是不可限量、内容丰富的,很多内容,将是今日的人类所无法预测的。
The year 2000 has brought mankind into a new century. Looking back on the course of the development of a human history of the past millennium, we can not but with emotion.
