BAE Systems used 3D printing technology to make parts for the Tornado, which was installed and tested successfully at the end of last year. In other words, what parts are needed on the battlefield afterwards can be printed out or changed the traditional logistic support mode. According to OFweek3D, the first Cyclone fighter to install 3D printed metal parts was successfully tested at the company’s Warton Airport in Lancashire last December. The company said the road opened, the future of 3D printing parts can be used in ships, aircraft carriers.
