中共中央总书记胡耀邦,最近视察鄂东鄂南地区时提出,要保护植被,防止水土流失,做好退耕还湖工作。 在视察中,胡耀邦总书记听了湖北省林业体制改革情况的汇报后,肯定了湖北林业体制改革的经验。他说:把自留山和责任山合为家庭经营山的办法好,这对调动农民经营山林的积极性,搞活林业、发展林业大有好处。他认为,有些地方全垦不好,容易造成水土流失,要改进,要保护植被,要搞混交林,科学植树。 在视察中,胡耀邦同志还指示,湖北要搞好退田还湖工作,大力发展水产和鱼苗生产。
