China’s insurance sector is now opening up quickly and orderly in accordance with its WTO commitments. Since 2002, the CIRC has obviously stepped up its examination and approval of foreign-funded insurance institutions. The profound changes in business environment for the local insurance company is an unavoidable challenge. On the other hand, the rapid economic growth has led to a sharp increase in wealth. The increasing public safety awareness has made insurance demand urgent.
