Many teachers ignore the importance of phonetic alphabet in English teaching and lack the teaching of phonetic symbols in class. This makes the student’s phonetic foundation is very weak, the ability to spell words is also poor. This will not only affect the students ’basic pronunciation ability, which may even affect the students’ spelling and memory of words.
