乔治·C·马歇尔五星上将、约瑟夫·W·史迪威上将、艾伯特·C·魏德迈上将、马修·B·李奇微上将、麦克鲁中将等都是第二次世界大战前后叱咤风云的美国著名将领。他们的从军经历虽各不相同,但却有一个共同点,那就是他们都曾与中国的天津有过一段缘分。 他们早年的军事生涯都是在天津度过的,都曾是驻津美军中的一员。这成为其生平中鲜为人知的一个侧面,也是其成长过程中不可忽视的重要一环。让我们还是先从天津的原美国兵营说起吧。
General George C. Marshall, Admiral Joseph W. Stilwell, Admiral Albert C. Wedemeyer, Admiral Matthew B. Richie, Lieutenant-Colonel McClure, are all World War II Before and after all-powerful famous American generals. Although their military experience is different, they all have one thing in common: they all had had a fate with Tianjin, China. Their early military career was spent in Tianjin, and they were once among the U.S. troops stationed in Tianjin. This has become a little-known aspect of its life and an important part of its growth that can not be ignored. Let us start with the original American barracks in Tianjin.
