Gui Wanxian “Beiyang government during the trial system,” a book both a profound theoretical discussion and macro guidance, but also has a solid, full and accurate historical data as a support. The whole book details and describes the whole dynamic process of the development and reform of the judicial system in this period, which is worth reading for a new history of law.
