止水带在混凝土结构中起着关键作用,阻止水或其它液体经施工缝、伸缩缝而渗漏。某些由聚氯乙烯或橡胶材料制造的止水带,要在混凝土第一次浇筑前进行安装,一般施工者要分开模板将止水带系到钢筋上,且在转角处得使用特制件。新型止水条成条状,在混凝土第一次浇筑后进行安装,安装过程简便。这类不同材料和尺寸的止水条(一般断面为25～19毫米)易于安装,但施工者几乎不可能在混凝土二次浇筑后进行检查和改正。所以在选择止水条和安装时要求严格。
Waterstops play a key role in concrete structures, preventing water or other liquids from seeping through construction joints and expansion joints. Some waterstops made of PVC or rubber materials are to be installed before the concrete is poured for the first time. Generally, the construction worker must separate the formwork and attach the waterstop to the rebar, and use special parts at the corners. The new water stop strips are strips and are installed after the concrete is poured for the first time. The installation process is simple. These types of waterstops with different materials and sizes (typically 25 to 19mm in section) are easy to install, but it is almost impossible for constructors to inspect and correct the concrete after it has been cast. Therefore, it is required to be strict when selecting the water stop and installation.
