民国时期,通俗小说十分畅销,涌现出一大批著名的通俗小说名家名作,有些小说的畅销程度甚至令今人吃惊。他们之所以如此畅销有三个方面的原因:符合了当时民众的社会心理,适应了他们的认知水平和阅读兴趣,民营书局为了生存发展也大量出版通俗小说。这些小说的畅销不仅是出版史上有意义的事件,对今天出版业的发展也有借鉴意义。
During the period of the Republic of China, the popular novels were very popular. A large number of masterpieces of famous popular novel emerged. Some famous novels sold well even today. The reason why they are so popular for three reasons: in line with the people’s social psychology at that time, adapted to their cognitive level and interest in reading, private bookstores in order to survive and develop a large number of popular novels. The best-selling novels of these novels are not only meaningful events in the history of publishing, but also have reference significance for the development of publishing industry today.
