在人民解放军的高级将领中,能文能武的将军并不太多。当代高级将领中,周克玉上将算一个。他是上将军衔将领中唯一的中国作家协会会员,这是因为他有不少诗文和纪实体作品获得广大读者的喜爱。克玉将军无论在战争年代,还是在和平时期的漫长岁月里,坚持天天记日记,他的日记因而成为一份既属于他个人、又属于我们的宝贵史志和文献。现在他将出任某军政委时的日记惠荐于我刊发表,这让我们感到一种荣幸。上期我们已经编发了他在1982年的日记,受到了广大读者的欢迎与好评。克玉将军的《军政委日记》,看似个人工作日志,实是一份我军高级将领在上世纪八十年初那个特殊时代的心灵写照。
In the senior generals of the People’s Liberation Army, there are not many generals who can speak any particular language. Among the top generals in the country, Comrade Zhou Ke-yu will be one. He is the only member of the Chinese Writers ’Association in the rank and file general’s rank of general, because he has a lot of poetry and documentary works that have won the readers’ favor.
