When reviewing and concluding the 2012 Chinese television market, many experts and scholars in the industry can always refer to the two-part show “China Sounds” and “Tongue China.” The former represents the pinnacle of the 2012 model-based entertainment program, which embodies the significance of television’s mass revelry. The latter opens a new age of documentary cross-platform dissemination that reflects the trend of interaction and aggregation of television and new media.
