Browne等氏首先应用氯苯吩嗪(B_(663))治疗麻风。Calston等氏发现B_(663)对麻风菌有杀菌作用。用含0.0001B_(663)的饲料喂小鼠,其足垫麻风菌的生长即受到抑制。B_(663)的临床用量为每日50mg或隔日100mg。 Browne等氏曾提出,临床应用民B_(663)一年后可能出现耐药;但未被其本人对该药进行三年药物活性的观察所证实。Warndorff氏报告一例B_(663)耐药,该病例经7年半B_(663)单疗
Browne et al. The first application of chlorphenazine (B_ (663)) treatment of leprosy. Calston et al. Found that B_ (663) had a bacteriostatic effect on leprosy. Mice fed diets containing 0.0001 B_ (663) were inhibited by growth of leprosy footpad. The clinical dose of B_ (663) is 50 mg daily or 100 mg every other day. Browne et al.
