USB 经过提速并增补 OTG 规范之后,业界曾一度猜想它替代1394的可能性。本文认为技术差异是次要因素,解决融合过程中的兼容和互连是根本所在。1394是不可撼动的基石,并有进一步扩张的活力,而 USB 则无法进入1394固有领域,反而有被逐步侵蚀的可能。
After USB speeds up and complements the OTG specification, the industry once speculated about the possibility of replacing the 1394. This paper argues that technological differences are secondary factors and that it is fundamental to address compatibility and interconnection in the convergence process. 1394 is the unshakeable foundation, and further expansion of the vitality, and USB can not enter the 1394 inherent areas, but may be gradually eroded.
