Darkroom test for angle-closure glaucoma challenge test, with the patient in the dark room after an hour of elevated intraocular pressure was 8mmHg positive. At present, there is no unified understanding of its mechanism. Is generally believed that elevated intraocular pressure is due to dark mydriasis, iris root thickening of the angle caused by narrow or obstruction, but many authors suggest other possible reasons. Feigenbaum (1931) speculated that intracranial pressure was increased due to choroidal vasodilation in the darkness; Higgitt (1954) and Foulds (1957) found that elevated ophthalmic pressure in darkroom tests in some eyes was not associated with narrowing of the angle of the corner; Gloster et al. (1973) That darkroom test caused by increased IOP at least two factors, one is related to narrowing of the angle and one has nothing to do with the narrow angle. This article test
