科学与技术的进步依赖于正确和精密测量,浮选也不例外。由于缺乏在操作浮选设备中发挥作用的装置和探测器,浮选基础理论(建模)和选矿厂实践的进步受到限制。加拿大McGill大学矿物加工研究小组开发了测量工业浮选槽三个变量的装置和方法:气体横截面速度、矿浆含气率和气泡尺寸分布。本文报道测量装置制造和操作方法方面的进展,以及探测器在浮选槽上安装规程和对测量结果的校正。
Advances in science and technology rely on accurate and precise measurements and flotation is no exception. Due to the lack of devices and detectors that play a role in operating flotation equipment, advances in flotation basic theory (modeling) and concentrator practices are limited. The Canadian Institute of Mineral Processing at McGill University in Canada has developed a device and method for measuring three variables in an industrial flotation cell: gas cross-sectional velocity, gas void fraction, and bubble size distribution. This article reports on the advances made in the fabrication and operation of measuring devices, as well as the installation of detectors on flotation cells and the calibration of measurement results.
