社会主义初级阶段理论是邓小平理论的基础和制定党的路线、方针、政策的依据。新民主义革命道路理论是毛泽东新民主主义理论的重要起步和形成标志。从两者主要内容、产生发展、历史地位的联系中， 可见马克思列宁主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论是一脉相承的、开放的、发展的科学体系。邓小平理论是马克思列宁主义和毛泽东思想在新的历史条件下的继承和发展，与毛泽东思想在基本立场、观点、方法上是相通的， 二者都具有实践性、群众性、创造性和科学性。
The theory of the primary stage of socialism is the basis for Deng Xiaoping Theory and the basis for formulating the party’s line, principles and policies. The theory of the path of the New Democratic Revolution is an important starting point and a sign of the formation of Mao Zedong’s theory of new democracy. From the connection between the two main contents, generating development and historical status, we can see that Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory are scientific systems of the same strain, openness and development. Deng Xiaoping Theory is the inheritance and development of Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought under the new historical conditions and is similar to Mao Zedong Thought in its basic position, view and method. Both of them are practical, mass, creative and scientific.
