The 9th General Assembly of International Metering Technology Federation was held at the West Berlin International Conference Center on May 24-28, 1982. Sixty-five delegates from 29 countries attended the conference. The main academic activities of the conference is the paper report. The contents of several papers exchanged by the General Assembly basically reflect the current international attention. The contents of the 221 papers read by the sub-groups are mostly the applications of advanced technologies. The robot sensors
