Objective To investigate the relationship between homocysteine and related inflammatory factors in patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy. Methods According to the diagnostic criteria, 40 cases of type 2 diabetic nephropathy group, type 2 diabetic mellitus group and healthy control group were selected from outpatient clinics, health examination and hospitalized patients, and plasma homocysteine and various inflammatory factors The relationship between indicators. Results Plasma homocysteine levels in group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ were significantly higher than those in group Ⅲ (P <0.01, t = 27.010, 14.741 and 15.001 respectively). The levels of Hcy and hs-CRP , IL-6 and TNF-α were significantly and positively correlated by Pearson correlation analysis (P <0.01). Conclusions Homocysteine levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus increase the incidence of microvascular disease in diabetic nephropathy, and there is a significant positive correlation between the levels of homocysteine and inflammatory cytokines hs-CRP, IL-6 and TNF-α.
