脂肪重积聚(adiposity rebound,AR)是指体质量指数(BMI)从婴儿期后开始升高的拐点,脂肪重积聚的时间与肥胖密切相关。日本独协医科大学儿科系的Koyama博士探讨了AR年龄与12岁时代谢性结局的关联。研究对象为日本枥木地区藤冈县1995—1996年间出生的157名男童和139名女童。所有儿童从婴儿期健康检查开始随访,直至学龄阶段的年度体检,共获得4月龄、8月龄、1岁、1.5岁、2~12岁的体质量指数(BMI)资料;12岁时进行血液生化检查,最终纳入271名(147男、124女)儿童进行分析。AR年龄的判定方法是:1~12岁期间,在第二次BMI升高前BMI最低值的年龄。儿童根据AR年龄划分为6组:≤2岁,3岁,4岁,5岁,6岁,≥7岁。结果表明,AR提前(<4岁)与较高
Adiposity rebound (AR) is the inflection point of body mass index (BMI) rising from infancy. The accumulation of fat is closely related to obesity. Dr. Koyama, MD, of the Department of Pediatrics, JUSU Medical School, explored the association of AR age with metabolic outcomes at the age of 12 years. The study population was 157 boys and 139 girls born in Fujioka Prefecture in Tochigi Prefecture of Japan in 1995-1996. A total of 4 months, 8 months old, 1 year old, 1.5 years old and 2 to 12 years old body mass index (BMI) data of all children were followed up from the beginning of the infancy health examination until the age of school-age examination. Blood biochemical tests culminated in the analysis of 271 children (147 males and 124 females). The AR age was determined by the age of the lowest BMI before the second BMI rise between the ages of 1 and 12 years.
