随着对虹膜色素上皮(iris pigmant epithelium,IPE)细胞形态及功能研究的深入,IPE 细胞有望取代视网膜色素上皮(retinal pigment epithelinm,RPE)细胞用于自体移植,从而避免了异体 RPE 移植的免疫排斥反应和自体 RPE 取材困难的问题。本文就 IPE 细胞生理功能和 IPE 细胞移植的动物试验和临床研究及进展进行了综述。
