二胡经典名曲《二泉映月》是华夏音乐宝库中的瑰丽珍品,半个多世纪来,它优美缠绵、凄婉感人的曲调回旋海内、声闻遐迩。这首乐曲出自盲人民间音乐家华彦钧之手,而使它得以流传至今的却是我国著名民族音乐理论家杨荫浏先生(1899—1984年)。1950年暑期,从事民族音乐理论研究的杨荫浏先生、曹安和女士等人,到无锡探访弥留之际的华彦钧,用钢丝录音带录下了华彦钧演奏的二胡与琵琶曲6首,成为永世绝响。下文即是杨荫浏先生撰文记录的当时情景,将这一彪炳史册的瞬间永远定格在历史的时空。
