Since the second half of 1989, Central and Eastern Europe have been transitioning from the original order economy to a market economy. It consists of three aspects: changing the ownership relations along the private ownership direction, readjusting the economic structure, liberalization of price and foreign trade, and macroeconomic stability. The transitional policies formulated by the countries concerned with the approval of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank started in Poland two years ago and in Hungary and Czechoslovakia a year ago. It is now possible to summarize the three major reform countries
