立金花(Lachenalia aloides)为百合科立金花属植物,由于原产南非开普省的西部,又名非洲香莲。其鳞茎很像百合,叶片、花茎上布满紫褐色斑点,形似豹斑,有人称它豹斑百合或杰纳百合。根据2003年中国国际花卉园艺展览会上,荷兰沃斯博尔(Vosbol)国际公司资料介绍,立金花是于1652年由荷兰东印度公司(VOC)派遣探险人员从南非采集的。但据英国桑德斯(Sanders)编著的园艺百科全书《Encyclopaediaof Gardening》(1947年版)上载,立金花首次引种到欧洲的时间是1752年,前后整整相差了100年的历
