近年来，配电自动化试点工程随着智能电网的建设迅速开展，本文对配电自动化的总体目标和技术路线以及构建原则进行系统的介绍，并且重点分析了配电一次网架或设备的基础条件，以及配电自动化系统的架构，还对主站和终端配置以及功能选择等进行分析，对比和总结了在试点工程结束后的应用成效，如经济效益、管理效益和社会效益以及科技进步等方面，配电自动化的开展对科学管理电网配置和智能电网建设产生了积极的意义，但同样也存在了一些问题，文章根据所需注意的问题采取了一定的应对措施。
