The Beitworth Agricultural Research Center, a USDA, is one of the most comprehensive laboratories in the world specializing in food production. At present, 900 scientific and technological personnel here are relentlessly engaged in the research of food production. They have produced Beittsville turkeys, modern bilberries and strawberries that have been around for many years. The research center is located in Maryland, not far from the capital, Washington.
