我国著名的学者、教育家、英语语言文学专家李赋宁先生因病医治无效,于2004年5月10日在北京逝世,享年87岁。 李赋宁先生原籍陕西省蒲城,1917年生于南京。幼承庭训,勤勉好学。1935年入清华大学外语系,1941年毕业于清华大学研究院。抗战胜利后赴美国深造,1948年获美国耶鲁大学文学硕士学位,而后继续在耶鲁攻读博士学位,并通过了资格考试。论文甫就
Mr. Li Funing, a famous Chinese scholar, educator and English language expert, died of an illness in Beijing on May 10, 2004 at the age of 87. Mr. Li Fu Ning origin Shaanxi Pucheng, born in 1917 in Nanjing. Young Cheng court training, diligent studious. 1935 into the Department of Foreign Languages of Tsinghua University, graduated from Tsinghua University Institute in 1941. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he went to the United States for further studies. In 1948, he obtained a master’s degree in literature from Yale University in the United States.
