梅山炼铁系统是周恩来同志亲自批准的,于1969年4月24日开始筹建。工程建设是围绕着高炉早出铁的要求进行统筹安排的。从1969年6月开始,相继进行了“三通一平一住”战役、“土建”战役、“设备安装”战役,于1971年底基本建成。建设速度之快,是当时少有的。其中重要的一条是全体职工坚持了“艰苦奋斗、勤俭办企业”的方针。在这条方针的指引下,生铁产量逐年提高,职工生活逐步走向富裕,各方面都取得了较好的效果。
The Meishan ironmaking system was approved by Comrade Zhou Enlai in person and was set up on April 24, 1969. The construction of the project is based on the overall arrangements for the early exit of the blast furnace. Since June 1969, the “three links, one peace and one residence” campaign, “civil construction” campaign, and “equipment installation” campaign have been successively completed and were basically completed at the end of 1971. The speed of construction was very rare at the time. One of the important ones is that all employees adhere to the principle of “working hard and diligently doing business”. Under the guidance of this policy, the production of pig iron has been increasing year by year, and the life of employees has gradually become affluent. All aspects have achieved good results.
