尽管实施素质教育已经多年了,但教学仍然难以走出考试的阴影。考试是教学的指挥棒,无论什么学科,只要纳入升学考试范围,就有了地位,学生和家长就重视,老师就教得起劲,效果也就明显。我市由于没有将地理作为初中升学考试科目,因此,绝大多数学生轻视地理学科,学生地理学习水平处在低谷状态。可以说,初中地理教学几乎是目前学科教学中最薄弱的环节。面对如此窘境,作为教师个体,我们固然无法改变考试走向,确定升学考试科目,但我们完全可以发挥自己的主观能动性,努力提高课堂教学效率。

The test is the teaching baton, no matter what course, as long as the entrance into the examination range, there is a place, students and parents attach importance to the teacher to teach energetically, the effect is obvious. Because our city did not regard geography as the subject of junior high school entrance examination, most students despise the geography discipline and their geography learning level is in a low state. It can be said that junior high school geography teaching is almost the weakest link in the current discipline teaching. Faced with such a dilemma, as individual teachers, we certainly can not change the test to determine the entrance examination subjects, but we can play their own initiative, and strive to improve classroom teaching efficiency.
