In the 84th issue of this journal, we proposed our calculation formula for spherical tank corner deformation and maximum misalignment stress. By verifying the actual electrical measurement value of the spherical tank, it is more accurate than Japan Yada’s clamp formula, and more importantly, the formula is associated with the characteristic size of the ball, radius R, and the calculation formula is also simple.
