20年前,一个由134人联合倡议产生的群众性创造团体——中国发明协会,在改革大潮中应运而生,呱呱坠地。现如今,在社会各界的关心和呵护下,中国发明协会茁壮成长,迎来了自己20岁的生日。20年的峥嵘岁月,风雨历程,让当年的发起人回想起来,感慨万千,激动不已;同样在这20年里,中国发明协会履行职责,鼓励群众性发明创造,培养和造就了一批具有自主创新精神的当代发明家。十月的北京,喜事连连。当人们还沉浸在十六届五中全会胜利闭幕和“神六”载人飞船航天飞行顺利返回地球的喜悦之中时,中国发明协会又迎来了20周年的纪念日。10月29日,庆祝中国发明协会成立20周年大会在北京人民大会堂隆重举行。全国人大常委会副委员长、中国科学院院长路甬祥,中国发明协会名誉会长倪志福、中国发明协会理事长朱丽兰等有关领导出席了会议,并做了重要讲话。
