Researchers at Peking University Sixth Hospital successfully translated the achievements from animal research into clinical trials and eliminated the memory addiction of nicotine dependent people and reduced the psychological craving. This groundbreaking research brings gospel to people who are hard pressed to quit smoking. The nature of tobacco addiction and dependence is nicotine dependence and is a chronic, highly recurrent disease. Nicotine causes plastic changes in the brain’s neural pathways, the formation of a strong and persistent memory of nicotine addiction, the persistent desire for nicotine dependence in tobacco users, a desire to undermine or even destroy smoking cessation.
