我国外语界关于社会文化教学问题的讨论至今已有10余年的历史。讨论至今人们基本达成共识:语言是文化的一部分,是构成文化其它组成部分并使之赋有活力的一个非常重要的因素;语言是文化的载体,“是传达文化的媒介,语言教学必然包含文化教学”(胡文仲1991:12—13)。也就是说,当今人们讨论的焦点不再是文化该不该教,而是怎样教,教什么。从理论上讲,就是如何解决文化教学
The discussions in our foreign-language circles on social culture and teaching have been going on for more than 10 years now. The basic consensus reached so far is that language is a part of culture, a very important factor that forms the vitality of other parts of culture, and language is the carrier of culture.
