(一)建造成鳅池成鳅池场址的选择应尽可能达到水源充足、水质清新、无污染;注排水方便;地势平坦;土质适宜,最好是中性或微酸性的粘土,其次是壤土;光照要充分,池塘周围不能有高大的树木和建筑物;交通、电力要方便。成鳅池的面积最好是200~300平方米;池形以长方形、东西走向为最好,长椭圆形也是较理想形状;池深90厘米;水深50厘米,池壁要高出水面40~50厘米;进水口高出水面20厘米;排水口与池底泥面相平或稍低;进排水口内侧都要绑上密眼网布。
