In 2013, it was the year that the various reconstruction projects in Yushu earthquake-stricken area began. After the 2010 “Yushu 4·14 Earthquake,” the four major infrastructure-based central enterprises represented by the China Railway Group have been undertaking post-disaster reconstruction of Yushu following the deployment of the Central Government. This is by far the largest post-disaster reconstruction task that humanity has carried out in plateau alpine regions. After more than a thousand days and nights of hard work, the new Yushu tree after the disaster was presented to the world with a new look. Among the many aided construction teams, China Railway Construction Engineering Group, as China’s China National Iron and Steel Corps troop, has consistently exerted its social responsibilities in this piece of land. It has created one after another architectural miracle on the plateau of 4,200 meters with the iron army spirit. In the third summer after the Yushu earthquake, the reporter went deep into Yushu and personally witnessed the stories of aid builders and felt the rise of the new jade tree.
