1998年,空军试飞团团长汤连刚被中央电视台列为“东方之子”进行了采访;1999年,汽连刚被空军评为“十佳飞行员”予以表彰。这位41岁中国唯一的空军试飞团的现任上依团长,在他25年的飞行生涯中,为共和国的航空事业填补了三项空白,曾获过国家科技进步一等奖。
In 1998, Tang Lian Gang, head of the Air Force Flight Test Mission, was interviewed by China Central Television as the “son of the East.” In 1999, Air China awarded the title of “Top Ten Pilot” by the Air Force. The current head of the 41-year-old China’s only Air Force test mission has filled three gaps in the Republic’s aviation career during his 25-year flying career and won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
