瑞士著名教育家皮亚杰说过:“所有智力方面的活动都要依赖于兴趣”。这句话真知灼见地道出了兴趣对学习的重要性。“兴趣是最好的老师”。兴趣是人们力求认识某种事物或爱好某种活动并伴有积极情绪色彩的心理倾向,是推动人们进行活动的最现实、最活跃的内部动机。浓厚的兴趣可以培养学生的求知欲,激发学生强大的学习动力,促使他们顽强拼搏,努力学习。那么,我们应该如何激发学生学习英语的兴趣,充分调动学生学习英语的积极性,以提高英语教学质量呢?
Piaget, a famous Swiss educator, said: “All intellectual activities depend on interest.” This sentence really insightful to explain the importance of interest in learning. “interest is the best teacher”. Interest is a psychological tendency that people seek to know something or hobby a certain activity with a positive emotion. It is the most realistic and active internal motivation to promote people’s activities. Strong interest can develop students’ curiosity, stimulate students powerful motivation to learn, to promote their tenacious struggle, study hard. So, how should we stimulate students’ interest in learning English and fully motivate them to learn English so as to improve the quality of English teaching?
