2002年6月8日夜至9日,三秦大地突降暴雨,肆虐的洪水造成我省34个县（区）的510万人受灾,直接经济损失达21亿元。面对突如其来的自然灾害,本报在第一时间内派出记者兵分五路直奔灾区采访,十余名特派记者全程记录了各地受灾和救灾情况。 作为第一批赴佛坪重灾区采访的记者,灾区十余个昼夜的奋战,我目击的人类与突如其来的自然灾难抗争的一幕幕,将永远留在我的记忆里,因为,那十余个昼夜的经历,是我生命中的一次洗礼——
