本期学报封二、封三及192页刊载多枚淮北市博物馆珍藏的在相山出土的古布币拓片,其中图一、图二两枚布币,一枚完好,一枚残断一足。这两枚古布币,较其它布币长大,它铸造的时间距今较远久,相对地说,当时铸造的数量不太多,流通与使用的地域不太广,时间不太长,故不如其它布币出土数量多,亦因它“迥异诸币,乃殊尤之品也。”因而,是较珍贵的一种古布币。对于这种布币的铸造时代、流通使用的地区,尤其是它的铭文,“诸家聚讼,迄无定论”,论者意见不一,悬殊甚大,如曾有认为它是王莽时代的货币。
