麦冬Ophiopogon japonicus Ker-Gawi.又称小叶麦门冬。屬百合科,多年生草本植物,产于浙江省杭州与慈谿县。往日有大量栽种,近年来由于收購价格較低,更重要的是药农多重视了粮食作物和經济作物的生产,故栽种面积比往日縮小,品質規格也較差。該植物叶叢生,叶形细長;5月开花,6～7月結实。初夏叶间抽出花莖,上部开花,略側向一方,排列成穗狀花序;花被6片,形小微向外卷,呈淡紫色。果实为藍紫色。药用部分为肉質塊根,即在麦冬密茂的鬚根上,生出肥大的紡綞形塊根,色淡黃,深入土中5—6寸。
Ophiopogon japonicus Ker-Gawi. Also known as leaflet Ophiopogon. A Liliaceae, perennial herb, produced in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province and Cixi County.
