新疆国营农场1979年开始试验塑膜覆盖地面栽培作物,先试用于蔬菜、花生、棉花等。试验表明,采用这一新技术,许多作物尤其是棉花,增产增收的效果十分显著。据石河子市农科所等单位试验,盖膜植棉每亩增产37.4—118.3%,收益增加45—144.5元;1981年,国营农场盖膜植棉的面积扩大到2万亩,平均亩产160斤左右,另有16个试验点也都获得了增产增收的效果。 一、盖膜植棉的增产机理 据观察和分析,盖膜植棉,其主要作用在于为棉花前期生长发育创造了有利的环境
