In order to curb the tuberculosis epidemic effectively, the Municipality has fully implemented the Ministry of Health’s TB control project since 1997, Zhejiang Province’s TB control project since 2001 and China’s CIDA-WHO TB control project since September 2002. In the meantime, during the implementation of the project, we actively explored the new centralized management mode for the diagnosis and treatment of designated hospitals and CDC management and achieved remarkable results.
