积极支持新技术企业武汉科技投资公司是武汉市科委和武汉市建行共同出资组建的公司,主要从事高新技术成果商品化、产业化、国际化的直接投资、委托投资;高新技术产品的开发、生产和销售,技术转让,信息咨询服务等业务,作为武汉地区首家科技与金融相结合的投资公司,他们按照国家方针政策,积极组织资金,支持高新技术产品开发,截止1994年3月底止,用于科技投资的资金已达718万元。
