河北省“八·五”期间育成了两个早熟、优质、高产，抗逆性强的绿豆新品种冀绿豆１ 号和冀绿豆２ 号。冀绿豆２ 号，生育期只有６５ ～７０ ｄ ，适应性好，产量１７７７ ．５～２０２０ ．５ ｋｇ／ｈ ｍ ２ ，比对照增产２２ ．７１ ％ ，居当前应用品种品系之首，累计推广面积４ ．７ ～５ ．３ 万ｈｍ ２ ，促进了河北省绿豆生产发展。“九·五”期间及以后绿豆育种工作中，应在当前品种品系基础上与国内外具有优良性状的品种大量配制组合，创造新的种质，尽快选育出早熟、优质、抗逆性强，超高产（３０００ ～３７５０ ｋｇ／ｈ ｍ ２） 的绿豆新品种，以满足生产和市场需要。
