从前有位旅客来到一家客店,问店主人要点什么吃的。店主人给他煎了两只鸡蛋当晚餐。临走时,旅客一时疏忽,竟忘了付账。一年以后,那旅客又来到了这家客店。一见店主,两人就像老朋友似地招呼起来。他又向店主人要了些吃的。在付当日的菜账时,他对店主说:“唉!你忘了,去年我还欠你两只煎鸡蛋的账呢?我该付你多少钱?”
Once upon a time a traveler came to a hotel and asked the shop owner what to eat. The owner gave him fried two eggs for dinner. Before leaving, passengers temporarily ignored, actually forgot to pay the bill. A year later, the traveler came to this shop again. When I saw the owner, the two greeted like old friends. He took some more food from the shop owner. On the day he paid for the dish, he said to the owner: “Oh, you forgot, last year I owe you two fried eggs, and how much should I pay for you?”
